Position Overview
Dabri, Inc. is seeking an Office Engineer I to support the Central Terminal Area (CTA) Curbside Improvement Program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This position will assist the Project Management and Construction Management teams with document control, submittal tracking, RFI management, meeting coordination, project reporting, and construction administration activities.
The CTA Curbside Improvement Program is a major airport modernization initiative focused on enhancing the curbside passenger experience, improving safety, accessibility, landscaping, and overall terminal frontage throughout the Central Terminal Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain organized project files, records, logs, and document control systems.
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Update and maintain project records in PM Web and other project management systems.
- Coordinate document reviews and distribute comments and responses.
- Assist with meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action item tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Support project managers and construction managers with reporting and project coordination.
- Prepare exhibits, presentations, status reports, and project documentation.
- Assist with construction administration and project closeout activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, stakeholders, and airport personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with document control, RFIs, submittals, project records, and construction administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on airport, aviation, transportation, or large public infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting projects valued at $50 million or greater.
- Familiarity with PM Web or other Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, or Design-Build project delivery methods.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, PE, AAAE, or similar credentials are desirable.
Work Requirements
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- Position is based at LAX and requires daily on-site attendance.
- No remote or hybrid work available.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support project activities.
- Consultant must provide a company-issued laptop and cell phone.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (DOE)
