Position Overview

Location: Los Angeles, CA (LAX – On-Site Only)

Dabri, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Office Engineer to support major aviation improvement programs at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). We currently have openings on the CTA Curbside Improvement Program and Terminal 5 Program.

The Office Engineer will assist project managers, construction managers, and design teams with submittal management, RFI tracking, document control, meeting documentation, and general project engineering support. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, active construction environment.

This is a full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday position. No remote work is permitted.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process submittals, RFIs, design changes, and construction correspondence

  • Update and maintain project logs in PMWeb and other project management systems

  • Maintain hard copy and electronic document control systems

  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure drawings and documents are updated and posted correctly

  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and track action items

  • Create exhibits, presentation materials, and technical support documents

  • Support project managers and construction managers with schedule, cost, and progress tracking

  • Perform expediting functions and maintain expediting logs

  • Assist with project phases from design through closeout

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contractors

  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, procedures, and industry standards

  • Provide general engineering and administrative support as needed


What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience on construction projects (airport experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of design and construction lifecycle phases

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and document management tools

  • Ability to thrive in an active airport environment with complex logistics

  • Experience with projects valued at $50M+

  • Knowledge of various delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, Design/Build)

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

  • Experience with PMWeb

  • Certifications such as PE, PMP, LEED, AAAE, AICP or related credentials

  • Experience supporting large, multi-disciplinary project teams


Additional Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

    • No visa sponsorship is available

  • Must be willing to work onsite at LAX (CTA or T5)

  • Occasional evenings/weekends may be required

  • Must be able to commute reliably (no relocation assistance provided)


Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience
(Your typical range is $45–$70/hr — you can insert it if desired)
