Position Overview
Dabri, Inc. is seeking a Construction Cost Control with accounting background to support the San Francisco Airport (SFO) specifically in the facilities services division. This position is responsible for providing accounting support for construction projects, including managing project financials, job cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, subcontractor payments, budget tracking, and account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify contractor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and contract compliance.
- Process invoices in accordance with Airport payment procedures.
- Validate invoice entitlement against contracts, CSOs, and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Review and resolve backlog invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Track and follow up on outstanding claims and payment issues until resolution.
- Collect and maintain supporting contract and claims documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate invoice and payment records.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting, contract administration, or project financial support.
- Experience reviewing and processing contractor invoices and verifying contract entitlement.
- Knowledge of contracts, Purchase Orders (POs), and Contract Service Orders (CSOs).
- Experience with claims tracking and documentation management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience supporting aviation, transportation, public works, or other large capital improvement programs.
- Knowledge of airport, municipal, or government contracting procedures and payment requirements.
- Experience with claims management, invoice backlog resolution, and contract closeout activities.
- Familiarity with contract management and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, CMiC, e-Builder, Procore, or similar enterprise software.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining contract documentation for compliance purposes.
- Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements, public contracting regulations, and grant-funded project compliance.
Work Requirements
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
